Congratulations to RBC Training Ground Future Olympians
Victoria, B.C. (December 10, 2025)
We are thrilled to congratulate the athletes named to the Top 35 RBC Training Ground Future Olympians, announced today by RBC Training Ground.
This group represents an exceptional level of talent, dedication, and potential, and we are proud to have welcomed many of these athletes at our local RBC Training Ground qualifiers across British Columbia, all of which were hosted by the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific (CSI Pacific) as part of the national COPSIN network, under the leadership of CSI Pacific employee, Andrew Latham, COPSIN Regional Coordinator.
CSI Pacific supported the delivery of the RBC Training Ground program across BC, hosting and facilitating testing events that provided athletes with access to high-performance environments and objective performance assessments. These events played a key role in identifying athletes with the potential to transition into Canada’s Olympic and Paralympic sport system.
Athletes from CSI Pacific–hosted qualifiers who were named to the Top 35 include:
Victoria Qualifier
Gavin Johnston
Adam Scott
Grant Simpson
Tyce Chappel
Thomas Boruta
Liam Hallett
Vancouver Qualifier
Drue Nooyen
Brooklyn Roddham
In addition, we would like to recognize Kate Kulig (Kelowna, BC), who participated as a virtual athlete this year and earned a place in the Top 35.
RBC Training Ground continues to play a vital role in identifying and supporting the next generation of Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes. CSI Pacific is proud to support this national initiative by delivering high-quality testing opportunities across British Columbia and connecting emerging talent to the high-performance pathway.
Congratulations to all selected athletes — we can’t wait to see what’s next on your journey to the podium.
