CSI Pacific staff have significant presence at Own The Podium hosted sport science conference
With a combination of presentations, workshops and posters, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific was represented by over a half dozen staff members at last week’s SPort INnovation (SPIN) Summit Summit in Montreal.
Own The Podium’s SPIN Summit is Canada’s leading edge symposium for professional development and networking in the areas of applied sport science, sports medicine, and innovation. This annual conference combines experts from around the globe to build knowledge and tools, for future Olympic and Paralympic sport success through technological and scientific research.
Our Lead, Biomechanics & Performance Analysis, Dr. Ming-Chang Tsai, was particularly busy, leading one workshop presentation, one National Sport Science and Medicine Advisory Council (NSSMAC) presentation and submitting four posters.
He was joined at SPIN by staff from our Strength & Conditioning, Sport Medicine, Mental Performance, Nutrition and Performance Analysis disciplines, as well as by the Lead for our Canadian Sport School Program.
