For my June feature month, I shared three posts highlighting my life in sport, the experiences that have shaped me, and the values that matter most to me as a CSI Pacific Athlete Ambassador.
In my first post, I introduced myself and shared some of the things that make me who I am beyond sport. When I am not skiing or training, I am usually outside.
In my second post, I highlighted the legacy of Sarah Burke and the impact she had on helping girls see that they belonged in freestyle skiing. I want to continues that work by helping create sport environments where athletes feel safe, supported, and empowered to pursue their goals.
In my final post, I focused on Play Safe and the role recovery plays in staying healthy, consistent, and able to perform at my best. Taking care of your body, managing training demands, and respecting recovery are all important parts of creating a safer and more sustainable sport experience.
Together, these posts show that sport is about more than performance. It is also about personal growth, meaningful relationships, balance, and enjoying the journey.
