ATHLETE AMBASSADORS – Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler

We are currently seeking registered National Team athletes to work as Athlete Ambassadors for Partnerships in each of our 3 campus locations (Vancouver, Victoria, and Whistler). These are paid, year long positions requiring about 60 hours over the year. If you have an interest in networking, marketing, and or/community relations and want to be part of enhancing the partnership opportunities available to registered CSI Pacific athletes, then we want to hear from you!

ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN WITH CANADIAN SPORT SCHOOL VICTORIA – Victoria

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed volunteer to join our team as an Administrative Intern with the Canadian Sport School Victoria. The Canadian Sport School (CSS) is a CSI Pacific program created to help alleviate the pressures of balancing academics and athletics and to ensure that our future Olympians and National Team members have all the skills and resources needed to continue to progress as high performance athletes, while excelling both on the playing field and in the classroom. The Administrative Intern will be active in the daily environment to help support the CSS program, staff, and student-athletes. This volunteer internship will provide a hands-on learning opportunity to gain experience in the field of sport administration, working closely with a unique, fast paced, high performance program at CSI Pacific and gaining mentorship from high performance sport administrators and other sport industry professionals. This September – June internship is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or a current 3rd or 4th years student in a Sport Management or related program looking to start a career in sport administration.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH (0.5 FTE) – Vancouver / Lower Mainland

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual for the position of Strength & Conditioning Coach (0.5 FTE).As part of the Integrated Support Team (IST) for Cycling Canada’s BMX Team, this highly-experienced individual will provide strength & conditioning (S&C) services to the NextGen & National Team, reporting externally to the National BMX Team’s Head Coach and BMX IST Lead and internally to the S&C Co-Leads at CSI Pacific. Based in the Lower Mainland, BC, this part-time, term position position (Oct 1, 2018 – March 31, 2019) will provide service at various BMX training locations as well as in the gym, and includes occasional international travel.

ATHLETE COACH SERVICES INTERNSHIP (volunteer) – Vancouver

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed volunteer for the position of Athlete Coach Services Intern at our Vancouver campus. This volunteer opportunity will provide the Intern with exposure to fundamental operations of a high performance sport organization, while receiving mentorship from Athlete Coach Services staff and other Institute staff. The Intern will assist with athlete and coach registration, intakes, renewals, and database/inventory audits, and will receive hands-on work experience within the BC and Canadian sport systems. This September – April internship is a great opportunity for a current or recently graduated student looking to start a career in sport management.
